NutriDesi ("we", "our", "the app") is operated by an individual developer. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What we collect

• Account data: email address used to create your account
• Health & body data: age, gender, height, weight, target weight, body composition measurements you enter
• Food logs: meals, calories, and macros you log
• Photos: food photos you submit for AI analysis (processed by Anthropic Claude, not stored permanently)
• Location: approximate location to find nearby grocery stores and restaurants (only when you use those features; never stored)
• Apple Health: if you enable sync, we read steps, heart rate, sleep, and write your food logs and weight back to Apple Health

How we use your data

• To provide calorie tracking, meal planning, and progress analysis
• To personalise recommendations using AI (Anthropic Claude API)
• To sync with Apple Health if you enable it
• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not use your data for advertising

Third-party services

• Supabase — secure database hosting (data stored in US/EU)
• Anthropic — AI analysis of food photos and meal planning (photos processed transiently, not stored by Anthropic)
• RevenueCat — subscription management (no payment details stored by us)
• Apple Health — optional health data sync
• Sentry — anonymous crash reporting to help us fix bugs

Data retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us. We will delete all your data within 30 days.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Contact us at support@nutridesi.ca.

Children

NutriDesi is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will notify you in-app of material changes.
